Robert Hawkins Siblings

The Late Robert Hawkins was born to the Late Matilda and Robert Hawkins in Louisana in 1900.  Robert had eight siblings:  7 sisters:  Sarah Hawkins, Matilda Raglyn, Mary Maddox, Callie Bland, Chaine Johnson, Jannie Hawkins and Mariah Jefferson.  One brother: Stanley Hawkins.

Because of God's grace and mercy, Mariah Jefferson is the only living sibling.  She is 96 years wise and resides in Florida with her grandchildren. 

Robert Hawkins married Birdie Lee (Gibson), in 1926 in Pine City, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of Parson & Lannie Gibson.  God blessed them with ten children.  Geneva Morris (Robert), Nelson Hawkins, Essie Mae Springer (Charles),  Lannie Menuard, Willie Mae Hendrix (Walter),  Robert Hawkins, Jr., Georgia Butler, Pearl (James) Davis, Ruthers Hawkins

They later migrated to Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Their old stomping ground and fondest memories were created on Hayden and Eliza Street.
